Re: SKY Stream pick freezes and then shows a black screen
@HelenET wrote:I'm having the exact same issue as this on one of my two pucks. My house is Cat 5 cabled, broadband speed is 250 to 300 Mb. It won't stay on long enough for me to do anything. I have reset it at least 20 times doing all of the attempted fixes suggested on these forums.
The fact that one puck works fine, suggests to me that it's definitely a faulty puck.
How can I get a replacement puck?
Give Sky a call. They will help you troubleshoot and organise a replacement puck if necessary.

Update
I managed to keep it on long enough to change these settings:-
Turn wifi OFF under Network (if connected via ethernet).
Set Network standby mode to ON and Overnight power saving is OFF.
So far so good and I have a working puck again!

Update 2
It stopped working again and then wouldn't work for more than a few minutes before crashing.
A replacement puck arrived today and it's working fine. So it seems virtually certain that the first one was a dud.
Here's hoping it's now all sorted!
