Remote issues

We have had our Stream system for around 4 weeks now, and to be honest, we have had multiple issues - we have a two-puck system. My mum has had it for around 3 months, and so has the same. I have lost count of the times the pucks have had to be reset. However, the most common issue we have had is with the remotes, where when you press the microphone key, the 'listening' message comes up on screen but it doesn't respond to your voice, and at the same time, the number buttons don't work which means you can't just type in the channel number. I have had to re-pair them multiple times. Does anyone else have these issues?
