Re re instating a sky remote app

Given the recent issues that numerous users have had with their remote not working and having to wait for new remotes to be sent out, would it not be worth considering adding a "remote app" that would allow you to control the puck from and iphone or android phone?  At least people would have a back up similar to how it used to work for a sky Q box?

@Jon121 I agree it would be useful to have a remote app but I suspect its unlikely to appear as unlike Q boxes and the HD+ boxes the pucks lack an IP control interface or more accurately nobodies found one as yet.

Quite why Sky/Comcast did not provide one hasn't been explained.
