No, you need to have Whole Home for more than one puck to be used in a single household. There is no 'main' box with Sky Stream, all the pucks operate the same as individual devices. Have you been paying for Whole Home for a while and not using it? You should get offered an additional puck when you take out the subscription but you do need to remember to add it to your order. Give Sky a ring and explain the situation to them, they should be able to assist and will hopefully provide you with a second puck at no charge.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you go into your MySky account using the app or online, you can add an additional puck, without calling Sky.
Go to Your products and Manage home set-up
it will be delivered to you in a few days by courier.
There is a one off cost per each extra puck you order of £39.95
As you already have Whole home ( some do even with a single puck for the extra Sky Go device (consoles) and more multiple watching extras), you will not have any further ongoing monthly cost.
But if you use more than one puck you will need to have the Whole home pack on your account.
All Sky pucks connect to your Sky account and share out their profiles and the like across the pucks for viewing on each puck.
Sky pucks are all the same hardware so there is no main puck ( like on Sky Q with a main box and mini boxes).
