Puck, pausing, then replaying

So trying to watch Wimbledon via BBC using Sky Puck. Picture stops, judders, then replays what I have just watched continually. Have now gone to BBC I player  via sky and watching live, with no issues

Had the same thing last night with all channels I was watching and with anything I streamed. Have checked via Netflix speeds which are showing 102mbps I tried changing resolution down to 720, I have updated Apps, I have turned off and turned back on again at wall .

This is rubbish especially if free view gets switched off how can you watch anything 😡

It is getting really annoying listening to the same thing twice every minute or so

It seems to be an issue quite a few people are having with Sky's live channel streams. It might be congestion on their servers, or it might be something else. Sky are apparently looking into it.

Don't worry about Freeview being switched off because its replacement, Freely, works very well. I've been using it for several months now and haven't had any issues. I have a Manhattan Aero box in my office beside me right now which has been streaming Wimbledon in UHD via the iPlayer app without any issues at all this week. I don't even have particularly good WiFi in here - it hovers around the 40Mbps mark, but there have been no issues.

Sky Stream pucks and SkyOS which runs on them are reliant on Sky's servers so the issues you (and others) are experiencing are down to Sky to fix. In the meantime, as you've discovered, you can watch live streams via apps either on your puck or on your smart TV or any other streaming device.
