Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels
@DantheSwan several people have been saying the same outside of this community. It's just very frustrating as per my previous message. I just would like to watch all the channels without all these issues and to stop complaining like so many of us on here.
Just had another pixelation 19.03 and then 19.48 @KevNewMedia Sky sports main event again 20.50

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels
@Super+Anthony Thing is people are not being honest, they are claiming things are not happening yet Sky themselves have aknowledged it
IT has nothing to do with peoples internet and everything to do with a bad service!
Stop blaming our internet when we all know that is not the case!

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels
@KevNewMedia Channel 904 for the UHD tennis. Sound keeps intermittently cutting out. Yet another issue for Sky to sort. It just gets worse.

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels
I still want to give it a bit more time... But then apparently one has to close your current account down and then wait three or four days, which seems ridiculous. Why on earth you can't just swap on the same day would make so much sense. I had spoken to others and they said there is no reason why it can't be done. All it needs is the engineer to come with Q, and take away the stream. No reason why Sky can't do this @Neil+Essex
Simple story really. Sky just need to sort out something that they have brought out but is not working correctly and there are clear issues with the puck

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels
Further to the above messages, I have just spoken to another Sky customer and we both agree it's quite simple. Sky have deployed stream without efficient testing and the system doesn't work as it should. Any good company would hold their hands up and be frank and honest about this. Unfortunately at present they continue to blame our ISP and our WiFi, rather than their own systems

Is it easy to back to q from stream? The cost ?

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels
Apparently not! You have to shut your stream account down, then you order Q, and then wait for engineer to come, so basically you have time with no Sky which is not helpful. Hence why I just want to stay with stream. Just a crazy process
Would be so much easier if Sky just sorted out the ongoing issues @Ant181

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels
I've got a year left with stream and I can't wait until it's over.
Has the makings of a good product, it needs a record feature to a hard drive. I dont think the masses will adopt to stream in its current state.
So buggy, laggy and slow.
Black screens , blue screens , pixelation now.
For a premium price the product is quite woeful I'm afraid.
Id keep them satalites up sky otherwise your business is in trouble.

Agree with all of this @Ant181 buggy, laggy and slow. Black screens , blue screens (though the please wait for me seems to have finally stopped), pixelation
You can also add sound cutting out last night

@Super+Anthony If your sound issue last night was on BBC One I noticed it as well but not on any other channel. It seems fine this morning 😀
If my post has solved your issue please mark as an "Answer" as it helps others identify the solution
If it has helped please give it a "Like"

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels
@Ant181 You don't need to wait, you are perfectly entitled to give them 31 days notice and leave, the "contract" means nothing on Sky Strea
You're legally allowed to just leave by law, this only applies to Sky Stream though

My sound drops are only ever during on-demand content 😞
