Problem obviouly not been resolved @Fothergill1 as it was shockingly bad yesterday evening on various channels and it included freezing of channels

Doing it again in Man Utd Spurs game as well

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels

Aye really bad. Starting to lose my patience now. Think we might need an update on the likely timeframe for a fix. Not satisfied paying top dollar indefinitely for a substandard service.

@Bazlowski It's not great and I agree but am trying to be patient and positive. There needs to be more done from whether it's Sky or Comcast to fix the issues

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels

Seeing this on a non-Sky (and not even UK based) channel this evening which is a little worrying

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels

I just signed up to now ultra boost for sports and on F1 UHD same thing 10 mins in and a glitch and pixelation. Now were good enough to give me the money back but that kind of proves it that it is a broadcast issue on Sky's end , also alot of people are complaining to virgin about the same thing , it's on their forums too . If anyone is thinking of now ultra boost , it is a good 20-40 secs behind sky stream . So for a sports fan watching sky sports , kinda stuck with sky 😂

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels

5StarHD is the worst for it on my Stream. This is the first time we've had issue and have done both reboots (via remote and button on bottom of puck).

Tonight, 5Star is unbearable to watch and ITV1HD has done it and left us with a black screen.

No issue with internet or apps.

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels

My sky stream was doing this all day yesterday, so much so that it lost signal on all channels and the screen went completely pixelated with tiny multicoloured pixels. I took the aerial plug out and plugged it straight into the tv and it worked perfectly.
I have the stream hardwired to our router. The router config and speeds are consistently higher than the provider (Vodafone)guarantees. I reset the sky box and all returned to normal.
I don't understand why they have an aerial socket if all channels are delivered via the internet. This is the only time it's done this since we took delivery of it.

I suspect we will have this @ljmm1967 until Sky and or Comcast find a fix, rather than pointing the fingers at the ISP. Paitence is a virtue

It's a requirement in some countries (Italy for example) for set top boxes to be able to receive state-controlled Digital Terrestrial Television as well as subscription satellite or online services.  Fitting the Stream puck with a DTTV tuner permits the same hardware to be used globally.

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels

Thanks for the clarification as to why the pucks have a tv aerial in socket on them @TimmyBGood  I was only wondering as to why as I was packing my 3 pucks up for return earlier today.

Good luck @squareeyeschris & co I'm getting a resolution to the tearing & pixilation issues. I'm out ✌🏻

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels

This is getting beyond a joke now,  cannot watch sports and even streaming from my playlists is just as bad.   Come on sky I'm passing for a service that's sub standard

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - Many Channels

Hi, if that helps anyone .I have a ongoing complaint about this issue with sky going on 8 weeks now and they have finally admitted it being a broadcast issue from their broadcasting team on various channels ,UHD sports and others and they don't have a date yet for when it will be fixed but is a known issue and acknowledged when I threatened them to taking them to their regulators which I can now anyway since it's 8 weeks. And I have asked them to refund my sports subscription since I've been on stream which they haven't discussed yet but I am pretty much certain they will or CISAS certainly will. I am now going back to satellite with them provided they give me massive discounts otherwise end of my relationship with them. In short , I'd suggest to not put up with their (Removed) service or (Removed) here telling you it's all fine and yeah they will probably
