I have (apparently) free Paramount Plus with my Sky Platinum, and have had for the last two years.
I've tried numerous times to get this up and running. I have created an account with the email linked to my sky account, gone through all the steps, using the link supplied, but at the last page before I commit, Paramount still want to charge me £52 for the year. It's like the discount code isn't being applied. I have tried to cut and paste the discount code, but it just hangs. I have created new accounts, with a different email address (as advised by others in various threads), used the link and all with the same outcome. It wants to charge me for the year.
Last Friday I spent 3 hours on live chat, being passed from one 'expert' to the next. Only for each one to realise they didn't know what they were doing and their laminated checklist didn't cover it. The 'final boss' expert actually told me that I didn't have Sky Cinema so could not have Paramount Plus. I had to explain that this offer has been available for Platinum users for 2 years.....and I didn't need Sky Cinema - that was the point. He then provided some telephone numbers so that I could start the process all over again, and cut his losses.
I don't understand why Paramount Plus is so difficult to deal with...I have no issues with Disney Plus, Discovery Plus, HBO max etc.
Paramount Plus are not interested in helping as they say it is a sky issue, and the help links they provide don't work anyway.
Is there any help available?
