Out of Contract - Dish hasn't been working for 7 months ! Help Sky,

Hi,

Help

My sky dish has not been working for more than 7 months, so I am getting no service other than bradband.  Luckily I have been traveling for alot of this but been paying still !!

I am also out of contract 3 + months

I would be happy to flip to stream service but want a price that reflects the above and what a new customer would get !

The battle with Sky cuistomer service / cancelation is as we know a joke and I cannot understand why they do this.  I have even told the sky rep on 3 occasions that I want to canel and they won't listen !

I have virgin media ! cabled to my house from a previous contract.  I highlight this as we can both play games, the swtich is simple

Can Sky put me on a direct chat

I want

Sky stream

Multi-room (1 x extra puck free) pay one off £39.95 for the other

Low level broadband

Skysports

Costs should be £71-722 from the website.  Unless sky feel they should be compensating me

Can Sky put me on a direct chat

Re: Out of Contract - Dish hasn't been working for 7 months ! Help Sky,

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

You won't get a new customer deal as you aren't a new customer.

Thats the way the industry for Tv and broadband is working at the minute, all providers are seemingly happy to let older customers go in order to obtain new customers. (For some reason new customer/subscriber metrics as opposed to net numbers is generally what most companies report now).

Re: Out of Contract - Dish hasn't been working for 7 months ! Help Sky,

Sky are unlikely to compensate you .... why have Sky refused to end you current services if you are out of contract?
