ITVX BLANK SCREEN

Hi, I've got 4TVs with 4 pucks. On only one of the TVs I keep trying to load an ITVX program using the Playlist feature and the TV shows as though its about to load then nothing, just a blank screen. Ive swapped pucks with the kitchen TV  and I've also swapped out the HDMI cable for another. The only way to get it to work is going down to settings > system management > Resets & updates > restart device. Once done it works ok. Note: this doesn't happen all the time but maybe once or twice a week. Any ideas please greatly received.

Ive restarted pucks, refreshed apps, itvx runs but fails to open any episodes of Coronation Street since yesterday. I followed the same process yesterday.

Its not my network as these are via ethernet. 

My missus has lost confidence as this is the second night of this and ITVX failing to open episodes either from Sky playlists, or direct from the app on the puck.

Come on Sky sort it out at your backend.

Have been having the same issue today. Refresh apps and reboot has worked but will have to see if it continues to work after today or if I have to refresh and/or reboot every time. Earlier in September I had an issue with Netflix image quality on my Sky puck which just recently got resolved...and now this. For the price they charge, Sky needs to do better.

Same here. Restart etc hasnt worked for me. Itvx still blank when selected and about to play. On two pucks at least.

Fed up with this, yet another failure.

Hi, up too now the pucks and sky stream have been ok. Just on the occasion when my wife wants to watch a soap on ITVX it blanks out, but not every time. Let's hope we can find a solution soon. I was thinking about signing out of ITVX app, deleting, then reinstalling and signing in again. Will try that next time. My wife says she uses BBC I player, channel 4 and channel 5 with zero issues, just seems to be ITVX.

Yes me too ! Get a blank screen when I select an episode to watch 

have reverted to watching itvx on me firestick

Hi @Jporch316  I have seen a number of posts on the forum saying that ITVX is not working.  I have been advising them to reboot via setting and it appears to be working, as in your case.

Totally agree with you i have had issues like this with ITVX before the same thing. Had issues with paramount picture yesterday kept going blurry all through programme. Nit that inpressed with Sky Glass at all

Reading many reports similar to my own regarding ITVX just showing blank screen on attempting to play something. YES I did all suggested fixes & yes I eventually got it on again but this isn't good enough! It's not exactly cheap to have Sky and as a 65 year old I thought it would be 'install and go' not having to faff about resetting/ taking plugs out etc etc . Sort it out Sky, there is obviously an issue

Workaround: Some have found an app's refresh or restart of their device in the meantime is successful.
