New contract price

My existing contract with sky stream and broadband/talk are due to end next month. I currently pay £72 a month in total for both contracts. They've sent details of the new price £110.50 . Twice I've phoned the Indian call centre and asked for a reduction and they said there's nothing available. Who can I speak to about negotiating a reduction, preferably English

Ask who for the retentions team. The sky customer service advisor didn't seem to know what to do. So who do I phone for retentions

There is only one published number you can call to reach Sky. All you can do is phone again and hope another customer service agent knows who to transfer your call over to.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number. If you are in the ROI on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Re: New contract price

I rung to renew tv and broadband and was given a price. When I checked two days later it was a lot dearer. I rung again and was told tv out of contract. I pointed out I had a copy of what had been agreed and had contract. The man (who was very rude) said I was wrong but he would rectify and give a good price. Agreed on price. Looked on my sky after a couple of days and found the price had increased even more. I rung yet again and said I wanted to cancel altogether. I now have what I was promised by the first agent. I am still thinking of cancelling as it is still expensive but do not want to lose recordings. But I will give a lot of thought to it.

Re: New contract price

I've finally sorted mine out. I used the text system and obviously spoke to the usual customer service team who thought he was giving me a good deal by increasing my total package price by another £60 a month. I kept pushing saying it was too much and he eventually said he had no other discounts available, and asked for my thoughts 🤦. I said no definitely not and I would cancel. He gave me the phone number for retentions and cancellations and I spoke to a very nice Englishman (sorry I'm not racist) who bought my price right down to within £7 of my present contract . I accepted that offer and got it sorted
