Netflix app unavailable
Just changed from Virgin to Sky everything ok apart from clicking on the Netflix app when it says "app unavailable try again later". Hours on the phone with Sky and Netflix, both saying a problem with each other. Netflix even said to contact our tv manufacturer, Samsung! Netflix was working fine until the change over last week. (Don't know if Netflix was in the previous virgin package or separate - didn't set this up). Tried all the resets suggested etc including the app reset

Re: Netflix app unavailable
I can't help with a solution I'm afraid and it sounds like you have tried most things. I would say as it is Sky you are paying directly it is their responsibility to fix it.

Re: Netflix app unavailable
What have you tried yourself or with Sky on the call.
Would suggest the following.
On your Sky Stream puck, do an apps refresh.
- Press Home on your Sky remote, then select Settings
- Press System management then Resets and updates and finally Refresh apps.
- You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
- Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing.
The apps refresh can take up to 24 hours to complete.
Repower your broadband router and after it's back up and running, then immediately do a Sky Stream puck settings restart;
Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete.
Wait about half hour for your Sky Stream puck to settle, like watch a live TV programme, then launch the Netflix app from the apps rail or using your Sky Dtream. Once remote saying 'Netflix'.
You will need to activate your Netflix as shown in this Sky help article as shown for the relevant details for Sky Stream/Glass;
Sky Stream with two pucks (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Mobile unlimited data. Sky Protect smart tech kit tester.
