My episode progress is not syncing

My episode progress isn't synching between different pucks in my house which means I have to fast forward and be forced to watch the same ads all over again to catch up in one room to where I left off in another.

I've noticed it most consistently on Sky Atlantic.

The same is happening to me too. 
It's doing my head in! 

it seems to be a problem that happens in quick succession I.e. moving from one room to another. If I leave it over night it seems to to synchronise ok.
