Moving to Sky Stream

Looking to move from Sky Q to Sky Stream as want to take advantage of Mulitiroom without the wires!  Would need 2 extra boxes which I guess would be £80 one off payment.  £12 per month for the whole home WiFi and then essential TV for £48 per month on a two year deal.  However if I take the deal now, Sky are going to increase the price in April 25,

Therefore where is the intensive to buy now before April?, especially when no one knows how much it's going to irease by?

When ordering online it will show in brackets the April rises or listed at the bottom of the page as 'Here's the legal bit'.  But expect as you are going from Sky Q to Sky Stream you will need to call anyway.

.

If ordering on a call, they will be able to tell you the April rise on your first future bill.

Ask them to tell you what it will be on your future bills.

Whole Home, Ad skipping and Sky Sports are the packs that we have noticed for the April rises that can add a small £1 or £2 increase to some of the packs.

You mention Essential TV with Whole Home and a monthly of £48 a month. That seems high for those two packs.

Essential TV is normally (before any discounts) £15 and Whole home £12

Would recommend going for Ad skipping, it's £4-£5 a month.

You can easily cancel or readd it on a month by month basis within your MySky account.

It often also has a free two month offer, when you have cancelled that pack.

@lettice I think @Victoria71 is including broadband in that price so it seems about right but if not it does seem high and I'd get them to check that out.

Re: Moving to Sky Stream

I just today moved Q to Stream, they gave me an offer and there won't be an increase. Had to phone and push though. Q has been pretty awful, kept pushing that point and got a price only £4 more than new customers, will take that.
