Re: Marion Digusted
Hi @Mazda13
I have 4 pucks and 2 glass TVs and have far less issues than in had with Sky Q. The key is fast and stable broadband. Sky say you need 25Mbps for HD and 30Mbps for UHD.
If you are unhappy you can return to Sky Q by phoning them. However satellite is becoming end of life and will be unavailable after 2030.

I have fast and stable internet but experience a multitude of issues with software, apps etc etc. not sure why but it feels like luck of the draw.

Re: Marion Digusted
@Mazda13 Stream has a few issues that need sorting but the vast majority of us find it works well. If it is not doing so for you it is possible your puck is faulty but more likely your setup isn't right. As @mikealanr says check your broadband speed, but also does your puck have a clear line of sight to your router if not that may prevent it working properly, also make sure your puck is away from anything else with space around it and see if that helps.

Re: Marion Digusted
I get you your frustrated but we are not sky, we are customers who have experienced most things with the system over the years. Coming back with a one line "my WiFi is fine" doesn't help us help you.
You can check the speed your puck isngetting in netflix (profile pic > get help? > Connectivity check).
Maybe run a speed test on your phone too and post the result. Or phone sky for troubleshooting...

Re: Marion Digusted
The puck is a marmite product some here will defend it whatever often raising internet, WiFi, routers etc as possibly the issue and not the Puck but my firestick, Apple TV etc etc all function fine but not the Puck hmmm weird.
The Puck is a product that needs nurturing, it is sensitive but once set functions pretty well but there are software issues, app issues, connectivity issues and so on all very frustrating. The issue is can you live with them and accept there are periods of tinkering required to use it.
Despite its pitfalls there have not been many articles in the press calling it a disaster and many are extremely happy.
Here you'll get negative and positive comments but only you can decide if the product is right for you.
If you are within your 31 days keep testing it to be sure then cancel if you are not happy. You may find in time actually it is not so bad but then.......
Only you can decide, there are alternatives and the Comcast owned Now app for Sky content has received lots of development of late. If Playlists and Continue Watching are your main requirement then TV Launcher with Apple TV are probably market leaders currently.
Hope things workout.
