Loading programme issue

Programmes on BBC, ITV and Channel 4and 5 come up then the visuals go off after a few seconds. It reverts back to the home page. The programme's sound still remains on. Several apps don't appear to be working either eg Prime, Netflix. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

This board would be filled with people complaining if it was a widespread issue.

It's more likely to be an issue with your broadband connection to the puck. Have you run a network check from the get help menu on the Netflix app? It tells you the speed the puck is actually receiving.

Sky Stream relies entirely on you providing the puck with as fast and stable a broadband connection as possible. It needs to be 25Mbps constantly, absolute minimum, for any chance of reliability. All the apps on SkyOS are hosted on Sky's servers, not the puck, so any speed fluctuations or interference on your home network can cause issues such as those you are experiencing.

Always worth fully rebooting the puck and your router in order to reset the server connection.

Will check connection speed. But why are some apps working and not others?

They may be stored on different servers, or it's just luck that they work when you try them.

Run a refresh apps from the settings menu on the puck too. That can sometimes help clear cache issues.
