@AndrewF_UK  They have only been rolling out the QS035 update to Glass TVs and have not started on the Pucks yet.

We are rolling out a software update, QS35, which has further improvements. This update is a gradual rollout and will continue over the coming weeks. to fix Lip Sync issues.  No mention of timeline difference between glass and puck.

Its frustrating as stated before as without a change logs we have no idea if they are even attempting to fix this issue or just roll out generic enhancement / fixes.

Considering the lengh of time we have had this issue I would expect to see a better update to their approach to fix the issue.

Completely agree once again @Case

We should be being compensated and not receiving value for money

Nevertheless, rollout to Pucks hasn't commenced yet, as @Fothergill1 posted.

@Super+Anthony

Just out of curiosity what level of compensation would you expect?

Anything until issues are sorted, especially when it's taking a long time, but maybe £5-10 each month till sorted?

Quite right although I doubt that sky will be that generous, it took an age for them to admit there was an issue at all

Re: Lip Sync issues - Sky Stream

I am getting £5 every month it is not working.  They just phoned me to say a fix was rolling out but then said this is only a partial fix.  I said I had heard it had only been rolled out to Glass.  When the lady looked further she said it looks like it hasn't been rolled out yet and certainly not to Puck.  Confusion reigns!!!

I still have the issue so when they ring in 2 weeks I will cancel until football season restarts and go back to Now when it does.

Totally rubbish product, plus I don't like the lack of a record function so I'll get a new hard disk recorder  ( most likely Panasonic as Humax is the reason I looked at Sky puck in the first place) which also streams Disney etc as its a one off cost and works a treat though I suspect the major players are trying to squeeze these out of the market.

As I posted before - have you asked? Sky aren't likely to volunteer a discount.

Well, that's a pretty fundamental feature of Sky's streaming service. I can't imagine why you signed up in the first place....

Re: Lip Sync issues - Sky Stream

Thanks for that helpful comment.  I thought it would be better than it is with favourites as they told me it worked in the same way as recording but it is nowhere near as useful.

Re: Lip Sync issues - Sky Stream

I have but no luck, but might try again. They have been helpful so will give it a go @Mark39

Just spoken to them and no luck. You only get compensation for lack of service and they said one can deal with this issue by going up and down channels. We still paying for something that is not working correctly but hey ho... patience is a virtue

Re: Lip Sync issues - Sky Stream

Hi, interesting thread.

We have just installed a Sky Puck. We have replaced Sky signature as they literally doubled our bill to £108, which is simply ridiculous for tv.

Anyway, we have immediately had lip sync issues. I have changed the sound settings to every possible parameter, DTC audio settings, AV sync adjustment on, AV sync adjustment off, moving the adjustment slide scale up and down, and tried Bypass.. all to no avail. The lip sync is terrible, and is making watching tv frustrating.

Watching tv has become so expensive these days, but you at least hope that the basics work ok...like lip sync.

We are going to call Sky tomorrow to report. Disappointed.
