Just an additional datapoint here :
Watching Kindig Customs on Discovery this morning, I am hearing a lot of Audio drop out, without seeing any video issues, the drop out seems to accumulate and after a few minutes the sync has drifted by quite a large amount - never seem it this bad TBH.

P11RAR thank you your work around which worked but unfortunately it does not lockin place and I have to re set it every time I change channel or switch off. I fail to understand why SKY do not address this problem bearing in mind how many people are suffering from it. They are still taking our monthly payments for a sub standard service.
I am also still suffering from sudden blank screen problem and regular " please wait for the programme to load " problem. We regularly have to switch back to Freeview - no problems with this so I cannot see the point in paying for and putting up with the Sky Stream.

I use Sky stream ( puck )
Last night as I was literally watching a live channel , the sound sync went off..
as I was watching . I literally saw and heard the sound become unsynced .
I don't have a sound bar and have a song TV . So this is 100% an issue With Sky and it's getting extremely annoying now
note : I am also Neuridivergent & Disabled

Bear in mind that I see this happen on news channels occasionally where you hear a tiny blip and the sound is off. It's normally a live broadcast issue that after a few minutes you see them correct at the studio end. Of course this Is a separate thing from general sync issues some people are experiencing, but as you said you literally saw it happen it made me think of this.

I think the comment was made in the same vein as mine about having more than 1000 posts - a bit on tongue in cheek, there are clearly more than 10 complaints.
I'd hate this forum to be a place that I don't want to read or post so lets keep it civil?

I've been getting this quite a bit this afternoon on Channel 5 and E4 Extra. It seems to start at ad breaks. Switching the channel then switching back fixes it.

Absolutely terrible yet again this evening, sound sync issues and lots of pixelation/breakups.
Time to go back to VIRGIN MEDIA ..... had none of these issues with them!!!

I have returned my Sky Stream box due to this and other issues. While I wait for a Sky Q box I've started using the Sky Go app and the same sync issue is present when watching live TV. It doesn't seem to occur, or certainly not as frequently, with streaming non-live services.

And to add that over the last 3 days I'v streamed all episodes of Landman via the Paramount+ app on my TV without any dropouts, buffering, sync issues and it's the same with Netflix, Apple TV, Disney+ etc. My only streaming issues are with Sky.

That's beacuse the 'usual campers' are point scoring and badge earning. SKY do not have a fix yet, other than the suggestion to change to the PCM audio stream. That suggests that it's a Dolby related issue, biut I still see the issue with PCM, through any output.
