LG G4 sound and picture issues with sky stream

We have a 55" LG G4 OLED tv, have just moved house and connected it all up, network fine, wifi good, we get random black screen for a second and sound continues, or sound drops multiple times and picture freezes. This has been going on for days, all other pucks are working fine. We have bought new hdmi cables, swapped ports, done a power cycle, it happens randomly, can be ok for an hour or so but then can happen every few seconds. The TV is brand new but it's pretty unwatchable with sky, it is our main tv but really frustrating. Any help would be great....in simple to understand language for a technophobe please!!

i have the G3 and a sonos and have similar issues at times then others times goes for days fine - usual advice is, has the puck got a good stable fast internet connection via wifi or ethernet(cable)  - the pucks are sensitive. have you tried a reset of the puck not just a reboot ? is your TV on the latest firmware? have you tried changing the sound setting on the puck to pass through - helps for some.

also is the puck directly connected to the tv? i had a switch and that definitely made things much worse but wasn't the entire cause.

@Westies21 Have you tried swapping one of the other pucks?  If your problems recur with the "new" puck, then maybe there's an issue with the TV.  If your problems disappear then maybe you have a faulty puck.  Worth a try?

How have you determined the WiFi is good at the location of the puck connected to the LG TV?

There seems to be a handshake problem between the Sky Stream, Stream Puck and Sky Q when connected to the LG G4 series. Both Sky and LG admit there's an issue but neither seem to be doing anything about fixing it.😤😢

The only way to for me to stop sound drop outs is to unplug/plug in the TV each day after turning on the TV for the first time
