Issues when pausing live ITV

Among many other intermittent issues when using Sky Steam, one constant issue is when replaying ITV after a live pause. When I fast forward to catch up, it often switches back to the live broadcast meaning I miss a chunk of the show. I have to mess around finding the correct place in the program using either  via ITVX or sky stream or, more reliably, through the LGTV. Watching BGT on Saturday was a nightmare that saw me jumping around various platforms to try and get back to part four of the show that I'd missed. It was a total joke. TV should never be this hard to enjoy. Ultimately the missing element of a hard drive recorder is causing all theses issues but if I want to go back to Sky Q then I need to pay significantly more! Well maybe not that much more now as my sky stream bills have been increased by over 10%  just signing up with them in December last year! Another 10% increase on a sky stream product that is still full of bugs!! The itv issue has been around for a while! Get it sorted!

Update 35 to SkyOS is being rolled out which is expected to fix this. It's due to be completely rolled out by 25th March, but you might receive it earlier.

Good to know! Let's hope it fixes the issues.  It's been a problem since December and bugs seem to take a while to fix it. When did enjoying TV get so complicated. Will lookout for the fix and get back to you. Thanks for your help.

Update on ITV issues: March 23rd and still no software fix as yet. Fast forwarded 2nd ad break after using the 'watch from start' option on sky stream and it trips back to live ITV meaning again I've had to use ITVX via my phone and connect to smart TV to finish watching the rest of the programme!

I wish they fix it so it don't power off when you pause ITV for over 5 mins, its like Sky want it to be a Vampire Device more then anything else.
Why when is only uses 0.5 wats so 0.0.2p aday when powered on(13 hours) so not even a penny it uses a day, it say its watts on it power supply then use a energy calculator to working it out..
