I have just moved house and can’t seem to get my sky box to turn on,I’m not sure I have it plugged i

I have just moved house and can't get my sky Q box to turn on, I'm not sure things are plugged into the correct place or if I'm missing a lead.

You've posted on the Sky Stream forum. Do you have Sky Stream or Sky Q?

@Michelleb501  As we can't see what you've plugged in or which cables are where you'll need to do some basic trouble shooting yourself.

 

Is this the box you have?

I have two cables coming out of the back. One into the tv and one into the broadband box, am I missing a power cable?

@Michelleb501  Your box should have HDMI to the TV and a power cable connection.

The smaller of the two circular connectors (right hand side in the image below) is for the power supply: this looks similar to a mobile phone charger but with a cable end to match that socket.

Brilliant thank you, I have the two leads in the middle so it's  apparent I'm missing the power cable that goes into the round hole!
