Help with connecting pucks

Hello all, recently moved from virgin (with them for many years) to sky stream. I have two pucks one upstairs and one downstairs, the one downstairs is in the same room as the broadband router, however every time I turn either box on it says no network connection. The only way I can get them to connect is by pressing the wps each time, and quite frankly fed up of doing this. Have I set them up wrong or do I have a faulty box? Initially thought it was one of the pucks which got replaced but still having the same issue. Any help will be much appreciated. Many thanks

Re: Help with connecting pucks

If both pucks lose connection until you press WPS again, they are probably not storing the Wi‑Fi credentials properly. Try this on each puck: Settings → Network → Reset network → Choose your Wi‑Fi → Enter password manually (don’t use WPS). This alone might solve the issue for most people. All the best.

This sounds very much like something we see for some customers from overnight or many hours of the Sky Stream puck being in standby mode.

If you have not done so already, change your puck to the following recommended settings set in Settings>

Set Network standby mode to ON.

Turn wifi OFF under Network if connected via ethernet.

After making those changes, do a settings restart straight after to ensure the option setting is set correctly;

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete.

Different ways to get to the settings menu;
Hit the . . . button on your remote and select settings, use voice saying 'settings' or scroll down to the settings menu on the home menu.

Re: Help with connecting pucks

Thanks both, unfortunately neither worked, and the only way I can get connected is every time I have to reset the WiFi and press the WPS button. When I input the password it just pops up with an error message. It's like the box thinks it's connected to an Ethernet without it being so. Very strange and I am no further along with sky, as trying to get hold of them is not easy
