Has something changed with Sky Whole Home?

I got Sky Stream around a month ago - I originally just wanted to try it and see if I liked it, which I do... so this week I decided to get a second hand Sky Glass TV - which I've now got and is working perfectly.

The thing is, just out of interest, I put my existing puck in another TV, and surprisingly it's still working fine, I would have thought I would need to upgrade to whole home to use this? Or are you able to use up to 2 devices without needing it now?

@mancsmark  As far as I'm aware you stil need the Whole Home app, did you follow the steps listed here for your 2nd hand set?   https://www.sky.com/help/articles/buying-sky-glass-second-hand

Re: Has something changed with Sky Whole Home?

@GD1 yes I did. I performed a factory reset once I received the second hand Sky Glass TV then set it up and signed it into my account.

Everything works perfectly on both the Sky Glass and the Sky Stream puck - the continue watching and playlist updates between them both.

At no point has it told me I need to upgrade to whole home to do this.

I'm only asking because if we are now able to use two devices without having a whole home subscription, then I would be tempted to purchase a 43" Sky Glass TV for my bedroom - but if I have to incur the extra £15 charge for this then I wouldn't bother and would just watch using Sky Go on my iPad or laptop...

@mancsmark  I woukd say it's a glitch and at some point one of the devices Glass/puck will show the error message.
