HBO Max app not appearing on Sky Stream due to Guernsey postcode issie

I am in the Channel Islands and although I have HBO Max included in my subscription it will not work through my Sky Stream device.  It appears to be an issue with my Guernsey postcode.  I want this resolved as I am paying for a service and to have all my apps in one place.  What do I do?

Hi @Hill4 and welcome to the forum.  The problem is actually with HBO and not Sky.   I live in Jersey and like you had issues registering with HBO Max.  If I remember correctly in my case when I scanned the QR code on my TV I couldn't register using my mobile as it gave a message about HBO not being available at my location.   I resolved this by setting up a VPN on my mobile (it's also useful when travelling and using public Wi-Fi).

I had a similar problem with Disney + as well but both are now working without any issues.
