Going from black to white router hell

Just going from the Black router to the new white router , 

two issues 

Glass will rarely connect , and even when does it drops the connection while the TV is on standby

secondly in addition to this headache I have two pucks , one is hardwired via a Cisco giga switch , the other in my sons room is on WiFi neither will play or even load up Netflix when connected to the white router , no issue on the old black box ever , sky have replaced the router 3 times , additional to this Netflix app built into my LG tv doesn't work either , normally NW-2-5 ( network error)  someone suggested disabling IPv6 in the router , this made no difference , any clues would be greatly appreciated appreciated

@screaming+eagle it doesn't sound like the Max Hub is doing you any favours. Have you considered going back to the black one?

My personal experience with both routers was noting but stress i dont think the wifi max is any better then the black one imho & not worth the extra cost. I left sky broadband due to their routers poor wifi coverage. I would consider returning if they provided decent routers. I left & joined EE & the coverage is great

@screaming+eagle  I kept the black router as I knew white one rubbish no issues with black router
