No. That would break the terms and conditions of your contract.

As detailed below taken from the Sky Stream FAQ, which also has further linked T&Cs and articles to read;

You can only watch your Streaming TV subscription on your Sky Stream puck from your registered home address – the address on your account. We cover this in your Streaming TV subscription contract (see Sky Terms and Conditions).

You can still watch your Sky subscription while you’re out and about by downloading the Sky Go app on your laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. It’s just if you watch on your Sky Stream puck outside your home that we might charge you extra.

To find out more, see our Use of Streaming TV subscription outside your home address article.

It's not really a con. It's on the contract you signed to take out the subscription.

You can use Sky Go on mobile devices if you want to watch Sky content.

Hardly. It's what you agreed to.

Not really: Stream was never advertised as being a portable media device to use anywhere (although there's no technical  reason why it couldn't be as long as it gets sufficient bandwidth)

Sky-branded television hardware has always been contractually tied to a single residential address: when NowTV had dedicated hardware it was fully relocatable (as it is now in app format)

If you use your puck anywhere other than the address you registered it at sky will charge you an extra £26 on your bill, it is con a con, you agreed to the terms when you signed up
