Goes to wrong channel on startup
When I first switch on Sky Stream and go to BBC1 it doesn't go to channel 101, it goes to channel 964. Which means that to go up to next channel BBC2 doesn't work. To make iot all work properly you have to type in 101 first then it works from there. Why does the startup default go to 964 and can that be changed

Can you explain how you are doing the bit in bold, when you first switch onyour Sky Stream?
Sky Stream with two pucks via wifi (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Mobile unlimited data. Sky Smart Home - Bundle Smart Home plan +

Hi @Gordon+Doyle I am on the beta trial of OS2 and have the same problem. If I select BBC1 or BBC 2 from the "what's on now or next" rail I am taken to channels 963 and 967 respectively. If I use voice control and say channel 101 or channel 102 I still get the same result and end up with 963 or 967. This is very annoying as you can't use the up / down remote buttons to change to the adjoining channels.
The trials team should be aware and I mentioned the issue on the appropriate thread.

Re: Goes to wrong channel on startup
Hi, I think you are using the favorites bar at the top to select bbc1, rather than the epg.
The favorites are numbered 1, 2, 3 etc so selecting a favorite and then selecting the next channel, you get your next favorite, not the next channel in epg numbering.
At some point you have put the reginal bbc channel into your favorites, hence it goes to 900 ishm rather than 101.
You will need to delete the reginal bbc from your favorites.
It maybe a glitch in the matrix that even is selectiong 101 as your favorite, a regianl bbc1 is put there, but as I do not have a tv licence, I cannnot try.
(I watch everything on demand and never from the epg live-playout, so do not need a tv licence)

Re: Goes to wrong channel on startup
Yes well the favourites feature on OS 2 is terrible. You can't make a channel a favourite whilst viewing it. You have to go to the favourite menu which is really hard to find, then after manually selecting a channel from the full list of channels, very tedious, the system then adds 49 other random channels ad favourites. It's a dreadful system. Can I go back to earlier OS ?

@Gordon+Doyle if you really want to leave the trial, instructions can be found here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-os-trial
Obviously worth noting, there will be bugs and missing features during the public beta that should hopefully get resolved as the trial continues.
