I've had stream for 18months and can advise that the UI and apps loading is way faster than any other sytem I've had; youview, nowtv.
Speed is the best thing about the stream puck. I have only 40mbps broadband.

Youview & NowTV boxes pre-date Stream and are old, obsolete tech, so are obviously going to be slower than a Stream puck.
If you've used apps on a smart TV from the last few years or a Firestick 4K Max or Apple TV 4K box, you'll see how much speedier they are than a Stream puck.

And this is certainly to be expected as the apps on these devices are running locally from the devices rather than being streamed from remote servers, so i would certainly expect the apps on the sky streaming platform to be slower as a result of that.
