Re: FAST channels on Stream
It's already been stated that the channels will be integrated in to sky stream and glass epg this year, for now they are via the Xumo app. The app will launch on Sky Q later this year. The FAST channels are nowhere near as good as the ones on LG channels.

Re: FAST channels on Stream
Xumo Play App on Sky Glass/Sky Stream must be UK only as it's not showing on either in Republic of Ireland.
Sky Glass 65 inch and 2 Sky Stream Pucks
Gigabit Siro 100% Fiber Broadband with Digiweb
1000 Mbps download and 200 Mbps upload speed
I only use wired ethernet with Sky Glass and Sky Stream Pucks

Re: FAST channels on Stream
F.A.S.T stands for Free Advertising Supported TV...
Basically, a load of channels grouped into a genre showing random shows...
For example, a paranormal channel would show older paranormal shows back to back. You might find ones such as 80's cop shows etc etc... no set program guide, just constant repeats with no skipable adverts

Re: FAST channels on Stream
Unlike the more traditional channels we have been used to, FAST channels are only delivered over broadband.
They are often built around a single show or theme.
The are normally accessed through a programme guide or often known as an EPG, either within an app or alongside a TV service broadcast channels.
The name stands for Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television.
The channels are offered subscription-free and will, involve watching adverts before and during the programmes.
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.

I see thanks for that, don't think I'll be watching the FAST channels, not keen on adverts

Re: FAST channels on Stream
Adverts before and during shows? That sounds awful must be why it's free.... 😉
