Discovery + does not work
Discovery + does not work when you move from sky Q to sky stream. It is a fault known to Sky who cannot give a timescale for it to be fixed. We moved from Q to stream in May. We have spent over 7 hours on several phone calls with sky doing all the suggested "fixes". These include full factory resets. Also we are told to try and delete our existing discovery plus account that was set up when we had sky Q. - but you cannot do that as when you log into discovery + it does not think you have a subscription and so the option to delete your account is not available. Apparently the apps team at sky is working on a fix - have been for 6 months or more - but we cannot speak to this team and the sky support people cannot - all they can do is fill in a form on screen and pass it on. If you make a complaint all you can do is speak to the person on the support line - there is no other method to complain - there is nothing they can do as they cannot speak to the app team and apparently there is no person the complaint can be escalated to. So basically nothing can be done. We were sold a package that sky knew had a known fault - but we're not told about and for which the fix date is sometime never!
