I want to try connecting my Skystream puck using Ethernet cable. Will this automatically switch the connection from Wi-Fi to Ethernet? I want to be sure that it doesn't stay with Wi-Fi, despite connecting the cable!
So, how do I disable the wireless option on Skystream?
Thanks,
Pete

Go into the puck settings and turn off the WiFi, it's as simple as that.
Settings > Network > Advanced settings and toggle WiFi to off.

@chess64hedgepig You will need to physically turn off the WiFi at Settings > Network > advance settings where you will find a WiFi on/off toggle.
When connected via Ethernet be aware that the Stream port only supports up to 100mbps so you are likely to get a speed reading of 85-90mbps. This is more than adequate and more importantly is probably more stable than WiFi.

Re: Connecting Skystream via ethernet
@Mick183 if you subscribe to Stream then your Sky Q box will stop working.
You cannot have both.
