Choppy framerate

We've been without stream for about 6 months, in which time we've just been using an Apple TV.

we ended up with a retention deal which was very reasonable, so again have stream.

Coming from the ATV, the motion on the stream is very noticeably choppy - every few frames you seem to get no motion? It feels like it's doing some very poor frame insertion as opposed tr frame rate matching the source content.

is this just the way it is? Judder reduction just seems to lock it at 60 instead of 50.

Unfortunately there is no frame rate matching on Sky Stream pucks.

All live channel streams are at 50Hz and will output as such.

Apps will have their output locked at 50Hz too unless you have 'Judder reduction for apps' turned on, whereby it will output at 60Hz which helps to smooth native 24fps content, predominantly movies and US-produced drama. This does not affect the live channel streams.
