Re: Change from SKY Q to Stream
Q and Stream are very different services, each have their merits, each have their down-sides.
Sky Q's main benefit is the ability to record so you can truly watch what you want when you want and fast forward through ads and rewind with ease.
Sky Stream does not record - instead you tag programmes to a playlist so you then watch them on demand via the relevant broadcaster's streaming app. You can 'cloud record' many live sporting events but these are often then only available for a limited time.
Sky Stream has the benefit of offering UHD on multiple devices, something Sky Q can never do.
Sky Stream pucks are independent devices and rely entirely on you having a fast and stable broadband connection in each room you wish to have one. They do not connect to each other and boost WiFi in the same way that Q miniboxes do.

Perhaps keep in mind that's the nature of support forums to be biased rather negatively...

Plus, have a read of the Sky Stream FAQ on this community, especially read and watch the videos in the Features section.
