Cannot set a start-up channel

Come on Sky - why can't I set a start-up channel.  Have just moved over to Sky Stream from Sky Q and this is a massive drawback.  The reason I've stated with Sky for over 20 years is because the user interface was so good.  This is winding me up every time I switch on the tv.  Please put it right!!

@ROB+WB you may consider it to be an omission, but it's not a fault.

@ROB+WB  Unfortunately Sky Stream is a different system to Sky Q as was Sky Q to Sky +HD.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@ROB+WB

Sky wants users seeing that Home page at every startup because for them it's valuable commercial real-estate to promote PPV events, add-ons and partners.

Re: Cannot set a start-up channel

Just click to the left on start up and the last viewed channels will be there. Not what you require, but easier than scrolling down to the EPG.

Re: Cannot set a start-up channel

@ROB+WB   I also think it is "horses for courses". I so much prefer turning on to the Home Screen.  With SkyQ, if there were other family members asleep, especially first thing in a morning it was always necessary to quickly hit the mute button or the volume button to turn the sound down.  Even without that I just prefer it.
