I am trying to activate my sky stream box after a few issues led to it not working, some apps weren't working and had to reset the box
After going to sky.com/activate it showed a red text saying
Oops there has been a problem
Please call us so we can help resolve the issue and complete this action.
After going back and forth calling sky many times, all they've said is to try again after 8:00, sky servers are having issues, etc. After doing all the steps that they've said, clearing cache/cookies, reloading, resetting etc.
Anyone know a solution to this problem? I'm still paying my bill to sky and if all else fails, i may have to cancel my direct debit to finally get a response from them.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@iuc333 Resetting the box is never advised as it can cause issues as you've now found, you'll need to call Sky to get this resolved.
You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:

(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.
