@JezzaP1  thanks. That is hopefully the update that fixes it then 🙂. That's the version on my new grey lead  puck.

Re: Build Version QSE38.010.00P Glitch

I regressed my puck back to the previous software and it was working fine. Woke up this morning and it's updated itself and now getting the jittering again.

@JMesh92 Yet Sky won't acknowledge it's the update that needs fixing 😔

Re: Build Version QSE38.010.00P Glitch

I've only had my puck nearly a month, it has the grey power lead and it is on Q38 and suffers with this issue so the new ones have same problems on Q38.  Can you force an update to Q40?

@Sunshinemafia Has yours ever worked in the month you have had it? Is yours stuttering every minute or more randomly? Is it all channels?

Re: Build Version QSE38.010.00P Glitch

It's been stuttering since I got it. It does it every 5 minutes or so on all channels, all apps, even youtube.  I restarted it, checked WiFi etc says good connection.  I have no other packs to compare it with only a sky glass which has no issues.

No, you can't force an update, I'm afraid.

Re: Build Version QSE38.010.00P Glitch

I am also having this same problem. I originally had a puck with the black power block when it first started happening and it continued getting worse. After speaking to Sky, they send me a new puck, this one with the grey power block (so supposedly a 'v2' puck, though I understand they just have a different chipset). Anyhow, it has been terrible since getting it a few days ago, dropping sound and/or picture repeatedly.

Sky now tell me it's a connection issue, and the Service Checker says my connection status is 'poor' - but I have FTTP fibre optic broadband at 500Mbps, and the wi-fi speed where the puck sits is 200+Mbps (plus the connection has always been excellent before now). The stuttering issue happens whether the puck is connected with an Ethernet cable or via Wi-Fi. I also have two other pucks in different rooms that do not seem to have this issue, though they are used much less frequently. I guess if they have been updated to build version QSE38.010.00P, they may also have the same issue: will check over next couple of days.

I am on build version QSO38.O35.01P on the puck in question, so not quite the same as in the title of the thread - but exactly the same issue going on. Would be good to get some resolution of this, as I suspect getting a different hub is likely to see the same thing happen again.

@endcliffe What a nightmare. I am glad I'm on Q40 with my v2 puck.

Re: Build Version QSE38.010.00P Glitch

I have 3 pucks- 1 not being used still in box, 1 on QSE37 which has some issues - the usual UHD Sports ones- and one which Sky tech support made me upgrade to QSE38 whilst I was on the phone to them last Sunday. The QSE 38 one was totally unwatchable last night with constant sound glitches, screen freezes. If we stream live tv and don't use the pucks my TVand sound bars/speakers are absolutely fine. Netflix is perfect. I have LG OLED tvs, full fibre broadband on a deco 65 mesh wifi with the pucks running on their own IoT 2.5ghz network (moved to their own in a bid to eliminate  the problems).
Would be nice if SKY stepped up and helped rather than always blaming us the end user and our networks.
Sky Q wasn't perfect but it was oh so much better than this. We lost the signal if it poured with rain - if that was the  only problem we had now .....

almost £100 a month for something that's unwatchable!

Re: Build Version QSE38.010.00P Glitch

I don't want to jinx it, but mine seems to be fine now... it still has the QSE38 build but nothing seems to be jumping or skipping now.

Re: Build Version QSE38.010.00P Glitch

Interestingly both my v1 pucks have downgraded themselves to qs037.045.02p without my help. Still have the issue though. I have an lg pled to too. Wonder if it's an update to the to that's caused this rather than sky? Thoughts?

Re: Build Version QSE38.010.00P Glitch

My v1 puck had no issues with Q38 but has since updated a few days ago to Q40. Now I'm experiencing the same issues as the rest of you have been experiencing .

Re: Build Version QSE38.010.00P Glitch

@Anonymous does this happen on all channels or just UHD channels?
