Blue screen usually before adverts

1 month user of sky broadband and stream. 36mbps standard. Often have blue screen on any channel, thought maybe it was a matter of the broadband settling in. Still, a month later I have this issue.
Funnily enough, it seems to happen a couple of seconds prior to the adverts. Blue screen - sometimes resets to home.

I've checked the software update, and it says "system is updated, software will update next time the system goes to standby" - only it doesn't. I've turned the puck off with the remote and still the message remains "...next time it goes to standby".

Don’t  know if that's related.
Can't use Ethernet, WiFi connection is sufficient to stream programs, nothing else is draining bandwidth.

Getting really frustrating. Remember, always seems to happen prior to advert break.

Can anyone help/advise?

Additional: I just thought, there one thing I haven't tried is turning it on and off again at the plug.

The system appears to have updated... fingers crossed 🤞

Re: Blue screen usually before adverts

For the first day I've gone through a tv show with no problems.

Turn it off and on again before asking for help... always remember!
