Black Screen

I subscribed to SKY in order to be able to watch the F1 channel . So far this is proving a big mistake. . When I try and watch the channel I get a black screen after a few minutes . I have to then press the power switch on my remote and go through  the menu to get back to F1 . Sometimes the remote just will not switch sky on . When this happens I just swich over to my smart TV system and it works perfectly ( But of course no F1 channel ) My internet is fibre and very reliable . I have no internet issues with any other device in the house. I have tried the "Help LIne Chat " What a waste of 45minutes that was. Absolutely no help at all .

Re: Black Screen

@Pody  Couple of things to try.

1st open the Netflix app on the puck, go to Get Help, run connection test, what speeds are being reported?

Is the issue with F1 HD or UHD?

If connecting over wifi is ethernet an option?  If so try that also and turn off wifi in the puck setting menu, restart the puck when you do this.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Black Screen

I'm experiencing very similar things, F1 streams going dark after some time and reporting "A technical fault has occurred".

Then, a few minutes later, it will disappear from the available selection.

I plugged in my box three days ago.  If this isn't sorted out quickly, it will be going back.

With the F1 Sprint Quali, it seems to have moved to "Sky Showcase"!

Service?  We've heard of it.
