How do I move apps and inputs up the screen lists

@Ed.B.   The position of items on the Home Screen can vary regularly as Sky promote one program or another some of the promotions being larger than others.  So maybe your Brother in laws was just different on the day.

Hi @Paul1952  and welcome to the forum.  Unfortunately the home screen rails cannot be moved by the user.  It would be great if we could edit the home screen but I can't see it ever becoming an option.  If it was I would remove most of them entirely.

What determines the position of the app rail? 

On my stream puck it's five or six rows down. On my brother in law's it's about fifteen!

I have a feeling it's because he doesn't pay for anything and got sky stream as part of his broadband deal, so effectively there are a dozen rails of adverts to get him to pay more, as they are for programmes he can't watch unless he subscribes.
