Again”arcade wait for your programme to load

Constantly getting the waiting to load message.  All apps in the smart tv work perfectly over WiFi, as do all other connected devices.  The puck is 2.5 metres away from the router.  
Got the puck to avoid trailing cables around the perimeter of the room,  very very disgruntled with the constant drop of connection.
