Ad Skipping

Do many of you bother with Ad skipping am begiining to think it a waste of £5

Yep. I use it or try at least. For the past few days I've been skipping ads and if get stuck all the time. Picture goes black. Then I go back to the main menu and then it won't play anything and says at the top right corner, waiting to load and just doesn't. This sky streaming service has been so bad lately. 😬 starting to think it's a waste of money.

@Rookey007   I use it and am glad I have it.  You are right though the system is not perfect and needs improving, I am hoping future updates resolve this and other issues.

When skipping ads try not to take it right to the end, I find it works better that way.

@Rookey007 I use it all the time but have to admit it is not perfect.  It would certainly be better if the FF & RW functions on the streaming platform worked a little better.  When my free trial of Add Skipping  expired I had intended to cancel it but by then I was used to its annoyances so just left it running.

If you cancel ... you may well get a free Ad Skipping for 2 months offer ... some have reported they never pay for Ad Skipping😉

This was my experience. The free ad skipping for 2 months offer was consistently repeatable via the MySky app. I didn't pay for it for 9 months.

Same here, free for the first two months after signing up. Cancelled then it was in MySky so took another two months.

Yes. As soon as your current offer ends, another should appear. That's how it worked for me. Same with UHD/Atmos - I didn't pay for that either.

Did you try Ad Skipping and cancel?

I added it when i signed up for stream i then cancel it a few days after as felt i wasnt using it
