Recently bought two HD films (Wicked & Twisters) via Skystore thru Sky Steam and both are juddering. Judder reduction is tuned on, via Sky Stream which fixed the juddering issues I had with Netflix etc but not sure why it's still happening with HD purchases made via Sky Store as this is the only variable. LG TV handles everything else absolutely fine. Broadband is 500mbps so that can be ruled out. This is yet more issues with the Sky Stream product and it won't be the last I will document on here. Wish i'd stayed with Virgin!

Judder reduction does not affect the Sky Store app.
All the movies on Sky Store are actually sped up from 24 to 25fps to avoid the judder issues you can get when playing native 24fps content on an app like Netflix, Prime Video or Disney+ as there is no frame rate matching on Sky Stream pucks. Judder reduction switches the output from 50Hz to 60Hz which helps smooth out judder on 24fps content.
This is why you'll notice that the running times of movies on Sky Store are actually shorter than on any other service and the audio is a slightly higher pitch. Wicked runs at 2 hours 33mins on Sky Store but is actually 2 hours 42mins on Prime Video when played at the original correct frame rate.
I'd recommend you try rebooting your Stream puck to see if that helps cure the judder.

Yeah thanks for this. They are looking into it. I know the sky judder function only works with other apps such as Netflix/Amazon etc and it usually stops judder but not always. This is my point, Sky store shouldn't be effected but annoyingly it is.
