Sky VIP Gifts not available?

I have just joined Sky TV and SkyVIP. My box and the mySky app are showing "Have a movie night on us" with Spiderman: Far From Home. The instructions tell me that once I login the price will change to €0 and I'll get it for free, but this doesn't happen. I don't have any movie packages or anything and my son saw it on the telly and got really excited 😅 I was just wondering if there are free VIP gifts then how do I avail of them? And if they're not available to me then should they show up on my box with instructions Included only to not let me actually avail of them? Might be a silly question I just don't like being told something is free only for it not to be 🤣

You have to sign  in to the sky store app to get the film for free. I did that this morning

As above, once you click on the Sky Store tile for the film that will show a watch to play on your Sky Glass,  it will launch the Sky Store app.

You need to login on that Sky Store app with your Sky id, if you have not logged in to the Sky store app already and it will then show the VIP £0.00 offer.

It's worth noting that Sky 'VIP' movies offered free via Sky Store can be still be claimed even if you are no longer a Sky customer or have any 'VIP' status whatsoever. 

I've just claimed the Spider-Man Far From Home movie on my Sky Store account, even though I have no Sky products or subscriptions. I just logged in to the Sky Store website with my old SkyID, searched for the movie, it showed up as being free, so I added it to my library (which has movies in it from when I was a Sky customer) and it can no be played on the Sky Store app on my mobile devices.

I have signed in on both the TV and the app and in neither case has the price changed to €0, I've gone right to the point of completing order to see. Glad to see other people seem to be able to avail of it, I just wonder why I can't.
