@Nicola200 as @NickNewark says if you dont try and watch it and delete it you will not be chargrd you are only charged when you start watching it but even if you watch for 1 second you will be charged

It does depend on which platform the movie was rented. For example- if you rent a movie online at Skystore then you do get charged straight away and @Nicola200 would need to try a livechat with the Skystore support team (open next At 11am)
