Physical copy experience.

Whats other peoples experience of physical copies of films, my copy of Ghostbusters Afterlife finally arrived today. would have been nice if they could have got it too me closer to release date or on release date like other vendors can manage to acheive. before someone says watch the digital copy that came with the purchase i cant as there are no subtitles on it. Also it arrived in a non padded envelope so could easily have been smashed in transit and the Blu Ray itself arrived non sealed, is this normal for a company like sky.

Hi @Martin+Glenn

Athough I understand there have been specific difficulties with Afterlife (delays and changes in release dates) I agree with your thoughts and experiences

Sky have commented that the lack of shrink wrap and certain inserts are an attempt to cut down on waste (may or may not be true) but certainly my last 2 Bluray orders  have had damaged cases due to impact on the paper envelope. I'm still waiting for my preorder of Afterlife to arrive.

The subtitles issue with downloads is meant to be resolved/improved during 2022

I have fed my thoughts back to the Skystore team

Re: Physical copy experience.

My copy arrive today, unsealed and envelope opened. Also the blue ray wasn't sealed so someone may have copied. Also no code download onto tablet etc? £17.99? Wish I bought from Asda or Tesco. Poor show sky!

Hi @mrsfusion You wrote

You can of course use the Skystore app on your phone / tablet and download from your account without using any codes.

Re: Physical copy experience.

I had wanted the copy for a present for a friend. The code which u normally get would have been handy for them to download as they please. I'll know never to use buy and keep with sky. I'll go and buy myself from shop.
