Ownership of content purchased.

Who actually  owns the content on your sky boxes..purchased films and box sets etc.. and how do sky compensate you at the end of contract and return the equipment  the content is stored on..

hi @Jamerama 

 

Any purchased content can still be accessed when you finish a SKY TV subscription.

You never own the content.  You purchase a limited licence.

 

But as noted above, Sky do provide a mechanism to use your licence.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

You can continue to view this content on other devices like PCs, Macs, phones and tablets after you have left Sky but the account needs to be changed to a Sky Store only one and for that you would need to get in touch with Sky Store support:
