Movie bought in sky store

I just rented  a movie en sky store in my mobile and I have not been able to pass it to my sky store even though it says it is posible, I played the movie in my

mobile thinking maybe it will show me see in sky box but no option appear. 

My sky store in the sky box is empty, what is more I just charge de payment pin in my mobile and rented the movie.As we wanted to see the movie today,  I decided to rent the movie again in the TV put my pin was not accepted.

it looks that there was no communication between the sky store in my mobile and the sky store in the TV.

help please

If you rent a movie you have to rent it on the device you want to view it on.  So for example, I have Sky Q and if I want to view a rental on Sky Q then that's the device I use to arrange the rental 

it's different for buy and keep movies which are available both on your Sky box and mobile if you buy it on either. 

renting on your Sky box would have worked if you put in the correct PIN 

What type of Sky box do you have ? You should be able to easily reset your PIN (either google it or I'll try to post a link for you )

This is quite a common issue I'm afraid as it has never been possible to both purchase a rental on a mobile and send it to a Sky box because with rentals they are tied to the device they were purchased on as you have discovered. 

If you have Sky+ or Sky Q then the pin is the last 4 numbers on your viewing card if you are a Sky+ or a Sky Q customer or you can set it to whatever you want via this link:

thank you for the reply, in that case sky should delete the piece of information that says itb is possible when the movie es rented.

How can I request my money back.? As  the only reason I rented in my mobile is to watch it in the TV.

thank you for your reply, sorry about the other message (it went out before I finished, and I tried to deleted, but I could not found how).

I understand how it works now, but SKY, should clarify that when renting a movie on the mobile, as it says that it is possible to see it in the sky box . The information is misleading if not true.

Regarding my pin, when I rented the movie in the mobile I first put the sane pin that I use in the sky box, but it did not work, for that reason I changed thinking it was a different pin, but then when I try to put in the sky box the new pin it did not got reconizsed, neither the old one. I had the message try again in 10 minutes.
