Hello I would like to Purchase and Buy No Time To Die from Sky and Sky have Confirmed it is a 2 Disc Collector's Edition Blu-Ray with a Paper Cardboard Sleeve. So I am scared and worried about Purchasing and Buying it from Sky because it may come through the Post not in that good condition and it may have marks or tears and corners dented and scuffed and the actual Discs might be out of the holders inside the box. So I just wondered how Sky Packaged Blu-Rays with Cardboard Sleeves. Also could any one Upload a photo of a Unopened Package Blu-Ray you got from Sky so I can see it please. No Time To Die will be a Present for my Son who has Autism and Aspergus Syndrome and OCD and other Issues. So every thing has to be perfect for him with not a mark on things he has. Thank you

Morning @Anonymous
So mine arrived today and it is the 2 disc collectors edition
Unfortunately the packaging was poor. A plain white envelope with no padding, no
shrink wrap, a dent through the envelope case and rear cover.
The discs themselves were fine and in place (not loose in the box)
but overall a 4/10 and not a great way to receive a Bluray.
Edit : and no outer cardboard sleeve
hope that helps even if it wasn't much of a recommendation

Re: How are Blu-Rays Packaged from Sky Store?
Hi @Anonymous
The last 2 blurays I've had from Sky arrived in traditional blue plastic Blu-ray cases both in perfect condition.
If it helps - I ordered the James Bond Blu-ray yesterday to be posted out on the 20th. When it arrives I could post some clear photos on this thread (although I appreciate that will not give you much time before Christmas)
I'm only a customer same as you but I'd be reasonably confident that if a Blu-ray arrives in a condition you're unhappy with, Sky should exchange it refund it. You could maybe get Sky to confirm that tomorrow by livechat before you order.

Re: How are Blu-Rays Packaged from Sky Store?
Thank you so so much @mike+simmonds for your kind reply. Yes I really would love and appreciate it so so much if you would upload some photos of your No Time To Die Blu-Ray Package and Envelope. Do Blu-Rays come in a bubble wrapped envelope or just a plain paper envelope? Any way I will look forward and wait until you get yours @mike+simmonds
Thank you so so much again for your kind reply @mike+simmonds

Re: How are Blu-Rays Packaged from Sky Store?
Hi @Anonymous
As far as I remember the previous blu-rays arrived in a padded white envelope
The blue plastic blu-ray cases were shrink wrapped and the disc was not loose inside the box.
I hope to receive the No Time to Die on about the 21st. I won't forget and will post some decent photos as I open it
hope that helps

Re: How are Blu-Rays Packaged from Sky Store?
Hello @mike+simmonds
Thank you so so so much for getting back to me and Uploading your Photo's so I can see them. You have saved a lot of hassle and trouble and stress here because my son and yes including us would not had been happy with what you received. I truly am so so happy that we did not purchase this from Sky like we very nearly did. My son did want to Purchase this so he could Download it straight away on his Sky Q Box and watch it and get the Blu-Ray as well. He has all the Daniel Craig James Bond Movies individually and yes Boxsets and Collectible Editions as well and they truly are in Prestine and New condition with out a fingermark on them. He is Autistic and OCD and has other issues as well. So every thing he has must be perfect and no one is allowed to touch them either only him. So we will Purchase this from HMV after what I have seen from your good kind self. I really do appreciate what you have done and I could not say THANK YOU to you enough for what you done for me on here. You a real true star and huge credit to this Sky Community. I truly hope you have a very very happy and good Christmas and New Year. How ever it is not good what Sky have sent you. Also you should really have the outer cardboard sleeve like the ones in the shops have. I truly hope you will get it sorted. Please update me if you get it sorted with Sky.
THANK YOU so so so much again @mike+simmonds
Happy Christmas and wish you a very very happy and good new year.
From
Catherine

Re: How are Blu-Rays Packaged from Sky Store?
Hi @Anonymous
How kind of you to write the above. You are very welcome 🙂
I did a livechat with Skystore to explain the damage and they offered me a choice of a replacement or a £5.99 credit toward my next purchase (I took the £5.99 😅)
Very best wishes to you and your family for Christmas 🎄

Re: How are Blu-Rays Packaged from Sky Store?
This exact thing has just happened to me also, coincidentally with the James Bond no time to die blu ray. My disc arrived this morning in just the same shoddy plain envelope as pictured above, cracked case most likely because of lack of protection. No card outer sleeve, no cellophane seal on the case either....just looks like a used blu ray but the discs were new.
I phoned sky store to complain and they were very good in issuing another copy but they did say that due to some kind of environmentally friendly programme, this is how their discs are sent without the plastic or card. They couldn't guarantee the replacement would be any different.
I stated it was intended as a gift and that it just looks like a used or opened blu ray so is not really acceptable but I was told that if buying from sky store, it's best not to buy physical copies if they are intended to be gifted as they wouldn't come as you might buy in a supermarket.
Ill certainly think twice about making another physical copy purchase!

Re: How are Blu-Rays Packaged from Sky Store?
Just to revive this old thread, could either of you post pictures of the front and also back cover of the No Time To Die blu-ray you received? And was there any leaflet or paper insert inside etc?
Thanks!

Re: How are Blu-Rays Packaged from Sky Store?
I have this photo of the back cover - but gave the Bluray to my son so don't have it here.
There were no leaflets or paper inserts other than the usual single paper sheet which forms the front and back cover of the Bluray case

Thanks - was that a different photo you uploaded as I just saw a blank triangle on your reply?
Just wondered if there was a technical glitch there.
