Free movie turn to paid

I was watching the conjuring 2 on Sky store yesterday as it was free. I didn't finish the film and went to finish it today, clicked continue and then asked me buy or rent it. 

why has it changed to that when it was free the day prior? I have sky cinema has part of my package.

When you say it was free how did you "purchase" it did you get it via a VIP promotion for example ?

Sky cinema only includes movies under than subscription- that movie is not currently available under that sub.

 

Therefore, only available under whatever terms (buy/rent) from the store.  But 'free' is unusual...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
