Download not available

Purchased rental of The Iron Giant on 31/1/2025 for a week. Played on Sunday 2/2 .
Tried to play on 4th . When trying to play enable to download came up and film disappeared from recording.
only way to view is to purchase again which is obviously not correct.

hi @MD78

Unfortunately I think it is due to the (limited) amount of time  you have to watch a rental once you start watching

From the SKY Store help

When you rent a movie at skystore.com or on a compatible device, you have 30 days to press play. Once you start watching, it's yours to play and pause for 48 hours.

Morning @MD78

@nigea99 Is exactly correct on this.

As soon as you first press play on a rental you only have 48 hours in which to finish viewing.

what you couid try is to livechat with the Skystore team when they re-open at 11am and ask if there is any goodwill gesture they can offer you (such as a repeat rental ) in view of the misunderstanding.

Here is a link to their contact page.  I've no idea if they will assist but worth a try
